Add a button for conversion to a web page with Dreamweaver is a very simple ... if you have the image button ready to go.
If you do not have images, however, here's what you do: Open a graphics program like Photoshop or Fireworks and create a rectangle with a solid fill (For this example, blue) and then put some white text on it that says 'Home'.
Next you want to cut the fabric and export this image as something like 'home1.gif "or" home1.jpg file. Export the image to the folder on your web pages so you can use for your website.
Next, simply change the text color on the yellow button for export, and that the version 'home2.gif'
Once you have these 2 images, creating a rollover button in Dreamweaver Dreamweaver is a cake, because it does everything for you.
Simply place the cursor where you want the button on its Web site and choose "Insert"> "Image Objects' => 'Rollover Image' from the dropdown menu in Dreamweaver.
Then use home1.gif to home2.gif image for larger image. Once you click OK, Dreamweaver will create all the code necessary for you. Then you simply need to upload the images and the page on your site!
These types of buttons quickly and easily make your site look more professional.
Rollover buttons are one of the standards of web design, and now you can use them.
Another option is to use the menus of features. You can find this under the "Tag Inspector" in Dreamweaver. You can use this to make some exciting looking pop-up menus that appear when you put the mouse over an image.
This allows multiple links to appear when you move the mouse over an image, and can be used to create vertical or horizontal sub-menus, which are used by some of the most popular and professional sites online.
