A2DP
Advanced Audio Distribution Profile. This profile defines high-quality audio (stereo or mono) can be streamed from one device to another over a Bluetooth connection. For example, music streamed from a mobile phone to a wireless headset or car audio.
ATSC
ATSC is a set of rules developed by the Advanced Television Systems Committee for digital television transmission that replaces much of the NTSC analog television system on 12 June 2009 in the United States and replace NTSC August 31, 2011 in Canada and December 31, 2021 in Mexico.
CE Approval
The CE marking (also known as CE mark) is a mandatory conformity mark on many products placed on the single market in the Area Economic Area (EEA). The CE marking certifies that a product has met safety of EU consumers, health or environmental requirements.
DVB-T
Short for Digital Video Broadcasting-Terrestrial, is the DVB European consortium-based standard for broadcast transmission digital terrestrial television.
F CC Approval
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is an organization U.S. Agency independent of government. The FCC was established by the Communications Act of 1934 and is charged with regulating interstate and international communications by radio, television, cable, satellite and cable. The FCC's jurisdiction covers the 50 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. possessions.
The FDA approval
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA or FDA) is an agency of the United States Department of Health and Human Services and is responsible for regulating and monitoring food safety, dietary supplements, medications, vaccinations, medical biological products, blood products, medical devices, radiation emitting devices, veterinary products and cosmetics. The FDA also enforces section 361 of the Law on Public Health Services and associated regulations, including sanitation requirements on interstate travel, and specific rules to control the disease in products ranging from pet turtles to semen donations for assisted reproductive medicine techniques.
GPS
The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a global navigation system Satellite System (GNSS) developed by the Department of Defense United States and administered by the United States Air Force 50th Space Wing. GNSS is the only fully functional in the world, may be used freely by anyone, anywhere, and is often used by civilians for navigation. It utilizes a constellation between 24 and 32 medium Earth orbit satellites that transmit signals of precise radio waves that enable GPS receivers to determine their current location, time, and speed. OSD
The display screen, a characteristic of visual devices such as VCRs and DVD players showing the program, the position and configuration data to a connected TV or computer screen.
PIP display
Picture in Picture (PiP) is a feature of some television receivers and similar devices. One program (channel) is shown in full screen the same time that one or more other programs are displayed in the windows of the insertion. Sound is usually from the main program only.
Radio Data System is a standard communications protocol for embedding small amounts of digital information in the radio Conventional FM. RDS homologous various types of information transmitted, including time, station identification and program information.
SD card
Secure Digital (SD) is a non-volatile memory card format developed by Matsushita, SanDisk, and Toshiba for use in portable devices. The SDXC (Extended Capacity), a new specification announced at the Consumer Electronics Show 2009, will allow a maximum of 2TB of cards.
TFT LCD
Thin Film Transistor-Liquid Crystal Display, of a special type of transistor field made by depositing thin films of an active semiconductor layer and the dielectric layer and metal contacts on a base of support. The transistors are integrated within the Group itself, reducing crosstalk between pixels and improving image stability.
