What makes more tips Diners or Applebees Restaurant?

I'm confuse because I heard some people make more in Diners them fancy restaurants? I also hear local independent Restaurants are better than Chain restaurants like Red Lobster, Chilis, because there isn't too overstaff, and high turnover.

You have to factor many things into play here.

First off is location, because if you find a diner next to a huge string of hotels, that could have the potential to be more of a gold mine than a fancy, top dollar restaurant, especially in this economy. Most of the time, rich people are very tight with their money; it's the common Joe-Shmoe that truly understands how hard you work for your money.

Secondly is which shift you work. Breakfast at a diner is really good money; dinner shift, not so much. Lunch shifts at a chain restaurant can be hit-or-miss, but those kinds of places are usually very good at dinner. Fancy restaurants vary from location to location and season to season.

Independent restaurants are usually a better work environment than chains. We call them Mom-N-Pop places around here. Those owners usually take much better care of their employees and listen to their feedback rather than having to pass that input off to an unknown corporate entity who doesn't give a crap.

If you do end up at a chain, don't go with Chili's or Black Angus. I've had terrible experiences with both. TGI Fridays is a really decent place...so is Bennigan's and I don't really know much about Red Lobster, but haven't heard any bad things about them; same with Apple-bee's. You just have to watch their requirements when it comes to tipping out at the end of your shift...they can be really unreasonable in that area.

How to Make a Necklace Tin Cup

The tin cup necklace is one of the most popular pieces of jewelry Wedding and bridal jewelry . Although it is very affordable, a tin cup necklace is easy to do. Read this article to learn how to make your own tin cup necklace. Enjoy!

Supplies

First you need to know what all is required to make a tin cup necklace. A string of departure is required. The game can be chain sterling silver or 14kt gold filled.
