You never know when the desire for a "cookie" really good will hit someone in your family. No need to spend a small fortune on buying at gourmet stores cookies when you can just as easily fill the cookie jar with homemade cookies fantastic. If your idea of homemade cookies involves break apart a little bit of Tollhouse cookie dough squares or slice through a log of cookie dough, then you have much to learn about the universe "cookie" homemade make your taste buds are missing! I put a few large cookies recipes in this article that even the most inexperienced cookie maker can whip up. Enjoy!

Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 / 2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup softened butter
2 eggs large
1 1 / 2 tsp. vanilla extract

Instructions:
In a small bowl, combine the flour, salt and baking soda. In a bowl big, beat the butter, vanilla and sugar until it turns a creamy texture. Blend in one egg at a time, then add the flour mixture and chocolate shavings. Grease two large baking sheet or line with parchment paper. Going through the scoop about 12 minutes at 375 degrees F. Let cool on sheets a few minutes before removing to a cooling racks.

Butterscotch Chip Cookies

Ingredients:
1 1 / 8 cups flour
1 / 2 teaspoon baking soda
Salt 1 / 4 tsp
1 / 4 teaspoon baking powder
1 / 2 cup brown sugar
1 / 2 cup of white sugar
3 / 4 cup butter caramel chips
1 / 2 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup Rice Krispies cereal
Butter 1 / 2 cup
1 egg
1 / 2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:
In a large bowl combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, white sugar and brown sugar. Add in the butter, egg and vanilla and mix well. Blend in butter chips, coconut and Rice Krispies cereal. When the fall of this mixture completely mixed, by the spoonful (about the size of a walnut) on greased baking sheets. Flatten slightly with the palm of your hand. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 8 10 minutes.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Ingredients:
1 1 / 2 cups all-purpose flour
3 cups oats
1 teaspoon baking soda
Salt 1 / 2 teaspoon
1 / 2 cup of white sugar
Lower 1 / 2 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 / 2 cup butter, softened
1 / shortening 2 cup butter-flavored
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup raisins

Instructions:
Cream together sugars, butter, butter, white and brown, vanilla extract and eggs. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, baking soda, cloves and cinnamon. Add the flour mixture into butter and sugar mixture and mix well. Add the oats and awareness and stir again. Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheets (ungreased). Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes. Allow cookies to cook on the baking sheet for a minute or two before transferring to wire racks. Keep stored in an airtight container with a slice of bread to ensure they remain soft.

Ingredients:
2 3 / 4 cups flour
1 / 2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1 / 2 cups white sugar
1 cup softened butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg

Instructions:
Mix flour, powder baking and baking soda, then set aside. In a separate bowl, butter and sugar until it becomes smooth, then add the egg and vanilla extract. Add flour mixture to sugar and butter and mix well. Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheets (without grease) and bake at 375 degrees F for about 8 to 10 minutes. Leave them on the cookie sheet for a minute or two before transferring to wire racks.
