Anyone know the name of this Chinese dessert?

Its a gelatin-like cake made with rice. It is almost translucent and is usually cut into diamond shapes. It's sweet, but has no discernible flavor---not vanilla, lemon, ginger, etc. Just a plain chewy, almost clear sweet wiggly dessert made with rice. It's much denser than jello, but a similar texture.
Thanks, but no, it's not agar gelatin or nian gao. It actually has grains of rice in it, and it's cut into large pieces--maybe 2 1/2"x 2 1/2".
It is colorless--almost clear with the grains of rice visible.

hahahha! I just had some tonight! Agar almond gelatin dessert. You can buy it in a foil package in most Asian grocery stores. Yes- denser than jello- the mix I buy just needs boiling water before setting in the fridge. Try it with canned mixed fruit on top- GREEEEAAATTT!
