I just got a ring form my great grandmother on the inside it says "Sterling LIND"?
"Sterling LIND" Also there is a little diamond symbol between the words, anyone know of this stamp?
Or anything about it?
This was fun research! I found a tiny passage in a book called "The Jewelers' Circular" dated 1899 on google books that says:
"Thomas W. Lind, manufacturer of settings and trimmings . . ."

This leads me to believe that his 'settings and trimming' from that time period were used to make rings and other jewelry and that this is what you may have. I've also seen a lot of 'LIND' jewelry for sale on-line, at ebay and such, but this is the only direct mention I've found so far that it may be attributed to this manufacturer. I'll look more . . .
