Problems with vision - seeing diamonds or disco ball pattern?

I have worn glasses since I was around 10, I"m in my late 20's now. Today I made dinner and now I'm sitting down watching tv; I thought something was on my glasses but it turns out it my vision. In my right eye only I am seeing what looks like a "faceted diamond pattern" or even a "disco ball pattern." I know it sounds weird, but that's the best way to describe it. It's constant and I can't get it to go away. What is going on with my vision?
** I am NOT seeing actual disco balls or diamonds, LOL. That is what the sparkly patterns resemble.
Y! answers is a forum where people ask questions; this is the optical section. Saying "go to the doctor on a Saturday night, is moot" I'm asking if anyone has an idea what this issue could be in the meantime?

Tips for buying diamonds princess cut

Princess Cut Diamond

Israel Itzkowitz of Ambar Diamonds created the princess cut diamond in 1979. Three years of research went into the design to create new facets of a diamond that had similar optical properties to the round of brilliant-cut diamonds. Now is the second largest diamond cutting popular form, second only to the round brilliant cut.

The general form of diamond is a square or rectangle with the top of the cut diamond and square shaped diamond body is similar to a pyramid. The princess cut is usually less expensive than round brilliant cut diamonds because they both should be cut to obtain the desired final shape. The ability to retain more of the weight of glass makes this form popular among diamond cutters. The diameter of the princess diamond is usually smaller than a round diamond with the same carat weight, and length is usually longer than a round cut. Some of the brilliance is the sacrifice to have this unique square shape.

Princess Cut Ring

Tastes vary, but are the minimum recommendations for buying a princess cut diamond as follows:

Court must be very well.

The color should be G or better.

The clarity of the diamond should be VS2 or better.

Percentage of depth to width needs to be 58 to 80 percent.

princess cut diamonds are considered brilliant style cut because this particular form of light is used with her crown angle and vertical facets, including shops, bouncing light around inside the diamond. Princess cut stones sparkle more than ordinary square-cut diamonds and after seeing one that is easy to understand why they call it brilliant cut.

When a diamond crystal under consideration gem cutters try to determine the cut that will not only look better, but also better profit margin, after all, are businessmen and artists. The performance of a carat weight of princess cut diamond can be as high as 62% higher than that of a round cut counterpart. It is not uncommon for these two cuts to cut from a single crystal.
