Man considered convicted sex offender lottery winner!! Unfair or what?
I heard this on CNN this morning. This man who is a convicted sex offender won a large amount in the state lottery and they were discussing his right to be awarded this. And I was thinking how we always here about KARMA. Well, in this case something went really wrong if this guy, whom has such issues with children, wins the lottery! It make me wonder if there really is such a thing as KARMA now? What are your thoughts?
Maybe he had absolutely nothing before monetarily and he was given this money so that now when his victims sue him in civil court for pain and suffering and any other damages the law allows (and win), they'll be awarded all of the money. I surely hope that somehow it does all end up going to them and that he doesn't get to keep a single dime.

Case Study: Karma, Brighton Marina
Video Mapping System Plasma Screens and Video Projectors
This is a case study a project based on technology in our previous article on Mapping Video Projector Effects.
We were asked to visit Karma Bar in Brighton Marina to design a new visual system to tie in the re-launch of the headquarters was the planning. With the use of new DJs, the place I wanted to add a system that would be able to show the actions within the DJ box at the same time create a focal point huge with something people had never seen before.
It was decided that a large wood carving in the wall Karma Brighton East would be the starting point system. At nearly 6 feet wide and 2 m high, the size that provides the perfect base for us to work in creating the fantastic video effects projector.
The whole system is divided into two sections, both based on the size. The first part was to integrate four plasma screens in size. The four windows / cut outs in the class would the location of the four screens, but in order to fill these we had to use four 42 "plasma screens rotate vertically to make the best of them. The size was removed from the wall and four NEC plasma display business were placed inside the wall, which is in the exact positions so that when the size was repaired, the full window screens without the bezel to be visible. In this way, when screens are not active, it becomes very difficult to distinguish them as screens plasma. This was in line with requests for places for the system to be very discreet when not in use.
The screens were then transferred to a 8x8 matrix switcher video that would be remotely controlled by computer. Four DVD players and four closed-circuit cameras were cable to allow the place to show images of DVD and video during the day, and the images of the DJ and crowd during the night. All content on the DVD was created specifically for the site and rotated during editing to compensate for the rotation of plasma displays. By having the computer control switching matrix, which allowed us to create a program that drove out the screen images, giving them more fluid, continuous rather than looking at the same constant on each screen image, as seen in the image below.
The second phase was the video mapping system. This involved the placement of two projectors 3500 ANSI lumens to project size. These were mounted in custom roof boxes to keep them hidden. The projectors were connected to a computer-based graphics system using VGA cables to maintain quality as high as possible. A snapshot of the class was loaded into the system, allowing different parts of the carving to be found in the software. This then allowed us create video and graphics content that could be projected in specific parts of the carving. Thus, the size becomes an interactive projection surface, instead of the normal projector screen, boring. Hiding headlamps gives the impression that during the day, size is not just a feature wall, but at night it seems that, literally, "Come Alive".
By combining these two parts, the overall system is an enormous effect. Finally, we moved the DJ box at the front of the class, creating a focal point and that the DJ shown in front of the crowd. The system was programmed to run programs automatically, with the ability for the DJ to select specific images in time with the music, thus increasing the overall system impact.
