Which foundation out of these 3?
I am looking for a really good oil free foundation that wont break me out,and suitable for dry skin.
I do use a moisturizer before I apply my makeup.
I have narrowed my choices to these three foundations.
I like them because they are all full coverage and have SPF.
I want to know if the MAC one makes you oily because it's not oil free. And I would also like to know which foundation is good for dry skin.
-Clinique Repairwear Anti-Aging Makeup SPF 15
-Clinique Dewy Smooth Anti-Aging Makeup SPF 15
-MAC Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation
Thanks.

"Give me a word - a word - and I show you the root of this word is Greek!" (Mr. Portokalos on My Big Fat Greek Wedding.)
Anyone who has seen the excellent movie, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, it is recalled that the line of Mr. Portokalos. Although the character and his speeches are obviously etymologically played for comedy, when it comes to the world of health and fitness, can have only one point.
Think of the words "protein", "Creatine" "aerobic" and even "gym." These are just some examples that have their roots in ancient Greek.
This does not should come as a surprise. You see, the ancient Greeks did not just give us the vocabulary we use, but also gave us the concept of physical training as we know it. They were very healthy and athletic and civilization is theirs, of course, that we inherited from the Olympic Games and sports such as boxing and wrestling.
Moreover, the ancient Greeks also gave us a very clear idea of what it was the perfect body. Physical strength and fitness were admired and regarded as a important in their culture. But more than this, the Greeks raised the development of the human body to an art form. The aim for balance, symmetry and proportion a physicist - exactly the same aesthetic that put in the other arts, like painting, architecture and sculpture.
The Greek ideal survived for many centuries, and has influenced the work of great artists from around the world. It was also the inspiration for bodybuilders early, when the sport was in its infancy around the beginning of the 1900s. But that began to change everything about the 1960s or so. The emphasis in bodybuilding left the beauty and proportion and pure size. The introduction of anabolic steroids and other drugs at the scene did not help either.
A bodybuilding finally became so enormous that have passed be completely divorced from its classical roots. Unfortunately, the Greek ideal seems to have been almost forgotten - but the good news is that we have left tracks. Where? In art, of course!
To get an idea of what a perfect physique was classic, we need only look at the statues of Greek athletes in a museum, in a book, or even online. The study of these works of art reveals exactly what the ideal body used to look like, and is very enlightening. While the statues do not seem to modern bodybuilders, yet definitely look athletic and muscular.
The classic Greek physician is defined as having broad shoulders and narrow waist, with seat and a flat abdomen. Even today, that kind of shape, decreasing still very attractive.
The chest of a Greek statue is well developed, but not to excess. Today, many people exercise in the chest too, and pectorals end up looking puffy and even fallen. It is a common mistake committed by the many newcomers to the gym, probably because the breast is a relatively easy to build and because exercises like the bench press has a macho image on them.
As members of a classical statue, these are certainly muscular, but not overdone. Having massive arms and legs is certainly an achievement, but the danger is that they can overshadow the overall shape of the body and destroy the sense of proportion. A typical feature of the Greek statues is that the arms are slighly small in the circumference of the neck. The calves are about the same size as the weapon.
Similarly, a neck and trapezius muscles no exaggeration. If these were too large, which would undermine the broad shoulders and pull the physical look all out of balance.
See also the general tone of muscles of a Greek statue. These seem to gently sculpted rather than too hard "cut" or "torn". This has been achieved through reducing body fat to a low percentage, but not as low as competitive bodybuilders is required. The classic Greek physician was not necessary to have all striations and muscle fibers visible, or to have veins everywhere jump.
Some experts are predicting that the time around the sport of bodybuilding will to its classic roots and become a truly natural physical culture again. Time will tell, but I hope they're right. The Greek ideal body is a treasure as precious as any work of art in a museum or gallery. It deserves to shine once again.
