Valentines Day..what should I get him? Is this too much ?

I'm getting my boyfriend a boxer puppy for Valentines Day..What should I get him to go with the puppy?.. I was also going to get him a cookie shaped like a heart with a saying wrote in icing..Should I also get him a necklace? I'm not sure how much to get..the dog cost about $350 & the cookie about $20..the necklace would be about $30..should I get the necklace or something to go with the dog? He already has a dog so he might have everything..
