Are totally black cats rare?
I have a kitten which is completely black. Even his lips are black. i have been told that this is rare. most have a tiny fleck of white somewhere on their bodies. Is this true?

The Penny Black stamp, also known as the Penny Black, was the first adhesive stamp to be used in the postal system. It was introduced in the postal system in the UK and Ireland May 1, 1840 as part of reforms suggested by Rowland Hill. All London post offices received official stamps to put in the email that was through them, but the practice of using the Penny Black did not immediately seize the whole country. Post offices in other parts of the country continued with his usual method of payment by mail, which often means that the recipient was responsible for paying the postage.
The Penny Black was the creation of Sir Rowland Hill in an attempt to reform the postal system. His idea of affixing the prepaid label to each piece of mail is considered that have merit and therefore was given a two-year contract to run the new system in 1840. He organized a competition to design new stamps, but none of the entries received was considered worthy of being the winner. Its initial design was that of a rough engraving of Queen Victoria as a child. Hill believes it would be very difficult for counterfeiters to duplicate this design. The stamp contained the word postage? And the name of the brand, but there was no indication of the name of country. At that time, was the first time anyone used postage stamps and therefore is unique in the UK.
The Penny Black was only in circulation about a year. This was due to a canceled stamp of the postmaster was red and it was very difficult to see against the black background. This meant that many people were reusing of stamps to send messages and basically free. The result was that the Treasury moved to Red Penny and changed the color of the cancellation mark to black.
The printing process of transmission of the Penny Black stamp required eleven o'clock plates. There were 240 stamps printed on a sheet from drilling had not been invented yet, the stamps had to be cut apart with scissors. Although a collector? article, the Penny Black stamp is not a rare stamp. There was almost seventy million stamps printed on your short life and many of them remain today. In addition to the stamp used to mail, there was an issue the Penny Black printed for official use only. This stamp contains the letters V and R instead of stars in the upper corners, which are in the regular stamps. All staff and government offices received large numbers of these stamps, of which only a few exist, this making this form of the rare brand.
