Silver Lemon
I wear a fair bit of silver jewelry and have done for years. Why is my skin suddenly turning 'black'?
The ring and braclets that are affecting me I have worn for five years, without EVER taking them off and they have stayed shiney! I also wear a necklace from a 'matching' set (ie. the same person made them!) and that is leaving no marks at all! I removed said marks (worst on my wrist....three braclets...two on one, one on the other but of a large and unusal design) easily enough with lemon juice on cotton wool but WHY, after so long? No ''major life changes'' have occured....not even my washing powder brand has changed! Cheers and Have Fun :0)
Sometimes a new lotion, diet or a medication can cause this.
sometimes it is a body chemistry change... brought on by.... time.
I went through this and I'm a silver girl too.... I was even breaking out under some bracelets for a while (used Lidex cream). I had to change to gold earrings in the upper part of my ears.
Then chemistry changed again and all is fine and I rarely clean the silver, it shines like it always did...
I've been through this cycle twice.
