Ancient myths
The crystals, minerals and metals have played different roles in myths and legends of cultures throughout human history. They are fascinating examples of the attempts of men and women of old to explain their world without the benefit of science and biases of each culture, superstitions and interests were impressed, so that gives us an especially vivid picture of the psychology of early man. Another belief is that turquoise had the power to protect the wearer from injury from falling, especially the fall of horse, which made the horse more sure-footed.
